With Bob and Kathy
NEO-Shamanic Breathwork (NSB) is an experiential process that uses breathing, music and safe space to facilitate expanded states of awareness for self-exploration and healing. Neo-Shamanic Breathwork stands in and is deeply connected to the tradition of Holotropic Breathwork as well as Jungian and Neo-Jungian maps of the soul. NSB involves, accelerated breathing, evocative music, bodywork, mandala drawing and group sharing in a safe environment with a trained facilitator. This powerful technique allows participants to access a wide range of experiences for the purpose of personal and spiritual growth.
For centuries the breath has been used in ritual and spiritual life to stimulate expanded states of awareness, and has been an integral part of many cultures around the world. In NSB, we use our own breath and each person has the choice as to how far they want to go and can stop the process at any time. This an extremely safe yet deeply moving experience.
NSB draws upon the best of depth psychology as well as cross-cultural sensibilities reflected in myth, art, philosophy and religious traditions to map an expanded cartography to the psyche. In addition to the ability to better locate the source of our psychological and spiritual challenges, NSB has a specific advantage of being experiential and thus allows you to go deep enough to reach the original source material and actually release the bound energies.

James Frazier, Bob and Kathys' teacher and mentor, studied under Dr. Stanislav Grof and was in the first group to be certified by Dr. Grof to practice breathwork. Over the years James has become one of the most experienced breathwork practitioners in the country. James’s mission is to combine Shamanic wisdom discoveries and insights about the human psyche made by depth psychologists, especially the work of C.G. Jung and classical Jungians such as Marie Louise von Franz, Robert Johnson and Dr. Edward Edinger. James was also heavily inspired by the work of the world-renowned Neo-Jungian theorist Dr. Robert Moore.
in that concept James has designed a two year Neo-Shamanic Training program that provides practitioners with the necessary knowledge to guide their clients into deep healing process safely and effectively.
Dr. Stanislav Grof is a conscious researcher. He’s been studying the healing and transformative potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness for over 50 years.
